I often get asked “How many quilts have you made?” “What fabric is that?” “What stabilizer did you use?” “How much yardage did you use?” “when did you make that? has it worn well?” and guess what, I NEVER remember. It’s too much to remember really. 100’s of quilts and projects come and go through the years of a maker. Keeping some, selling some, gifting most and when years blend together (because time flies) the “how” and “what’s” get lost. For years I tried putting projects in books or journals, but the project get put on hold the book gets shelved, they aren’t together, and then things get misplaced or forgotten…as things over time often do.

I have been using this project cards for the last 3months and they are a game changer for sure!!! They can go with my started but not finished projects for another day, they have a allowed to me to re-order fabric when the cleavage is gone and they have helped me stay focused and on task!!! But what I think I love most of all is that they have helped me see my creativity in a single glance. Look up from my desk to a clip board on the wall to see what project I just finished or can reference and do again. That clip board full of pages tell a story of creativity for this year, it’s middle of march and I have completed 9 projects.
